"Project Coordinator": The designation itself speaks of the job we do. In reality as well, the job is all about coordinating with the resource at ASCA depending upon the need of the assignment and the client either it be translation, writing, proofread, journal submission and many more. The job is to try to give the best and deliver high quality product to the client which at the end has direct and indirect impact in the people's lives.
ASCA is the representative of the great name in the research Journal names: Science (AAAS). I received the opportunity to become a member and work with its issues in Japan which I really feel obliged. Being a science student, new researches, and development in the field of science has always attracted me and influenced in many ways. To get to work in the same field that one like is not always the case for everyone and I feel lucky and happy to have been able to do that.
ASCA facilitates and works as a medium (by different services) to communicate the new development in the field of science and technology either it be new drug development, researches or writings and many more to add. Looking at the ASCA's profile, the service it provides was the first thing I got attracted to. Being able to work in such a company where one plays a very important part in mediation of these information and great developments and in many ways (though indirectly) working for the better health and life of people has been very inspiring.
Being a foreigner, language is a barrier but it is definitely not letting me stop. I receive full support and cooperation from the colleagues around which makes it easier to jam in.
Of course, Japanese language at the most along with better understanding of different contents required for better job delivery.
