Science Japan Meeting 2020 

Japan & Science AAAS: For the Future of Science and Innovation in Japan 
Career Development for young researchers

The 1st Science Japan Meeting was held at the Tokyo American Club in September 2018. We are going to hold the 2nd meeting at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) on March 5, 2020.
Bill Moran, Publisher of Science and its sister journals, and Kei Koizumi, Visiting Scholar in science policy, are coming from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for the meeting. From Japan side, Dr. Mary Voytek, Executive Director, Earth-Life Science Institute (WPI-ELSI) of Tokyo Institute of Technology and Dr. Christophe Weber, President and CEO of Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., will give a talk. The latest research by young researchers will also be presented.
The theme is set as "For the Future of Science and Innovation in Japan" focusing "Career Development for Young Researchers". Participants will be researchers whose research have been published in Science or its sister journals and those who promote science in any industry or academia.
